April gaped at her computer screen. Leaning forward in her chair to the point of almost tipping out, she rewound the last few seconds and raptly watched the video again. Installing hidden cameras in the lair in case of yet another break-in had been one of her best ideas in a while, but she certainly hadn’t expected to find this kind of a gem!

“Find something of interest?” Donatello asked, snacking, as ever, on a slice of pizza. He tried to hand her one, but April, her eyes glued to the screen, mutely shook her head, declined the offer, and gestured to the screen.

Yet again, she replayed the moment. Cheese dripped onto the floor from Donatello’s pizza, unnoticed by both of them, as they watched Raphael and Leonardo heatedly argue. Leo waved his hands dramatically in the air, and then he seemed to be telling Raph to, “Sing about it. You know the music’s the thing. Just let the music ring.”

Raphael, looking thunderous and almost downright murderous, turned swiftly in the floor of the Turtles’ living room and stalked directly to Leo. He grabbed his head in his hands, but instead of hitting or shoving him, he slammed his beak down onto his.

April, still gaping at the video, managed to pull her eyes away long enough to take note of Donatello’s reaction. The turtle beside her was grinning. “What?!” she declared. “Don’t tell me you knew!”

“Of course I know! I grew up with them! All of that anger’s gotta be channeled somehow!”

April stared at him for a long minute. Her lips moved. Sounds came out, but she couldn’t form an actual word. “D-D-Don’t tell me you do it too!”

“What? Those two?” Donatello asked. “Of course not!”

April stared at the screen again as Raphael’s three-fingered hands began groping Leonardo in places on his shell of which she’d never given any thought. Donatello reached out and turned off the video. “Hey!”

“They deserve their privacy, April,” Donatello spoke gently, almost as though reprimanding a disobedient child. April resisted the urge to stick out her bottom lip but cut him with a glare he smoothly ignored. “That’s not the reason we installed the Turtlecams.” It was, however, the reason why he would never like himself be caught alone with Mikey in front of one of the cams. Their love was awesome, but it was private too.
