Okay, below the cut are 5 food drabbles for this week's theme.
Feedback is always groovy.
Lindsey/Angelus
He came into the parking lot, not wanting to think about how the meeting had gone. Idiot client thought he could wriggle out of the contract. It doesn't work like that, contracts are binding. You try to get loose; the Partners will have your ass for lunch.
The key had barely touched the door when a hand grabbed his throat and slammed him against the car. He tried to figure out what he’d done wrong this time when fangs sunk into his neck. All he managed to get out before everything faded to black was one word. "Angel?"
"Not anymore."
This could be Xander/Giles or perhaps another pair
He didn't know where he was when his eyes opened again. The only thing that seemed very clear was the hunger that was slowly growing inside. He had to find food, to try and make the hunger go away for a while. His head tilted slightly as the footsteps came closer. Something smelled like tea, but he'd never remembered it smelling so strong before.
Pressing up against the wall, the door to the room opened and he waited until the man was inside, and then pounced. Tea hit the floor while fangs tore into flesh. Nothing ever tasted this good.
Lindsey/Angelus
"But Angelus, you said I'd get to eat him. It's not fair!" The stump of his wrist rubbed the new bruise on his cheek.
"I said you could have a snack Lindsey, I didn't say you could drain him dry. He has information I need, and I can't get it from him when he's dead, now can I?"
He did have a point. "I won't kill him; I'm just going to have enough to tide me over until dinner."
Angelus turned to the bleeding man on the floor. "Now Wes, be good and try not to spoil my boy's meal."
Wes/Lindsey
Being tied up wasn't so bad. But it was the giggling from just out of his range of sight that was driving him crazy. Lindsey was up to something, but he had no idea what. Flexing his wrists, he tried to see if he could pull himself loose just long enough to find out what his cowboy was doing, but the knots were too tight.
He heard the door on the mini fridge slam shut and raised both eyebrows when Lindsey came around the corner with a bowl of pudding. "Darlin', I told you I wanted a snack before bed."
Wes/Lindsey
"What would you like me to get you, love?" He reached out and brushed his fingers against the man's forehead. Still burning with fever, but it wasn't as high as it had been before.
"Do you think you could get me a popsicle from the freezer? Those always used to make me feel better when I was little. Best food in the world for a fever."
Coming back into the room, he swore those blue eyes lit up at the sight of the frozen treat. "Now, I want you to be sure to suck on this until it’s all gone."
