Opening Challenge #29 'Too Darn Hot'

There have been quite a few people on my flist talking about how hot it is, and as the sun was actually shining here in the rainy UK today, we decided to go with 'Too Darn Hot' as slashthedrabble's challenge this week.

Is it a heatwave, a tongue-burning chili, a bit of sexy teasing that pushes all the right buttons? It's up to you.

Make it hot, make it slashy, make it anything you want.

Drabbles of 100 words and ficlets of 200, 300, 400 and 500 words exactly are acceptable, and please use cut tags.
