Prompt #294 is Come.

Drabbles of 100 words and ficlets of 200, 300, 400 and 500 words exactly are acceptable, and please use cut tags. Have fun!

Also, as this is a multi-fandom community, please remember to add a header mentioning which fandom(s) and pairing(s) you are drabbling in. Thanks. :D

A new challenge will be posted around 10pm EST on the 8th June, 2011. (That's 3am on the 9th June, London time.) PLEASE feel free to drop a reminder comment here if it looks like I've forgotten (again).

Suggestions for future prompts are always welcome, and can be made on any mod post. The list of previous prompts can be found here.

Title: Busybodies
Prompt: #294: Come
Fandom: BBC Merlin
Ship: Arthur/Merlin
Rating: G
Disclaimer: no money, no problems

Arthur wonders if Merlin will someday realize that he, the crown prince, is the real servant in their relationship. Arthur merely uses Merlin’s penchant for getting into trouble as a convenient excuse to come to the raven-haired, milk-skinned, blue-eyed man’s rescue every few days. But if Merlin ever figured out that all he needs to do is cock his head, don that crooked and too-toothy smile, and twitch his pale spindly fingers for Arthur to ‘Oi, c’mere,’ he’d probably have Arthur running about for him for any or no reason. Arthur wonders why that thought doesn’t bother him so much.

... but we're in the same boat now."
