Xander sighed as he opened the door slowly, the hinges creaking loudly in the quiet room as he heard Giles pull away behind him. The house seemed dead somehow and Xander jumped when his mother stepped out of the shadows, whispering quietly, "Xander, your father is waiting for you in the living room."

Fear gripped the young man as he took slow, measured steps, his body still sore and aching. Coming around the corner, he froze at the sight of his father; silently staring at him from the couch with Angelus perched on the other end, smiling widely.

"Xander," Angelus purred, "We were beginning to wonder."

"Sorry," Xander apologized quietly before feebly offering, "Giles brought me."

"It's all right," the vampire said quietly as he rose to approach the trembling boy. "We were just discussing our new arrangement."

"Arrangement?"

Xander sighed as Angelus began to pet his hair gently.

"I've decided to let your family live," Angelus explained, genuine, gentle smile on his face. "They are going to stay here, with a few of my minions, of course, while you stay at the mansion. They'll be here to keep the Slayer and her groupies from getting suspicious. Isn't that right, Tony Boy?"

Tony silently stared at him.

"Missed your warmth," the vampire purred, nuzzling the dark hair, "Your screams."

The bandage hiding the bite mark on his neck was savagely ripped away, hair and skin sticking to the tape. Xander whimpered quietly as he hardened instantly.

"See, Tony?" Angelus chuckled. "That's the way you do it."

Deft fingers began to unbutton Xander's shirt as Angelus explained conversationally, "Your dad sucks at the torture thing. He was screaming and begging before I even pulled out the good whip. Guess the whole 'white knight' thing skipped a generation or two."

Xander's shirt floated to the floor as knowing fingers found every ache, awaken them with a touch.

"It got so annoying. 'Please. Don't. I'll give you anything.' Too bad for him I already have what I want."

Xander's pants were opened and slid down damaged legs before Angelus directed him to step out of the fabric pooling at his feet.

"I want you to show them, Xander," Angelus commanded as the crisp white boxers were ripped away. "Show them who you are now."

Xander watched as Angelus opened his trousers, pulling out his hard cock before sitting in the chair facing both horrified Harris'. Without a word, Xander straddled his Master, facing his parents at the vampire's direction, before sinking down, eased only by the precome on the cool cock and the slick he'd found in Giles' bathroom.

He rode the vampire as his mother quietly wept and prayed. But her prayers would go unheard. They had a new god now.

His father was blessedly silent.

Xander didn't know why until he spotted the jar on the mantle. The one housing his father's tongue.

Now his parents understood the truth of their new life.

In the absence of faith, there was Angelus.
