8 drabbles: LA Law, SGA and CSI: NY.

LA Law: CJ/Abby for all three drabbles

Title: Slip Away
Fandom: LA Law
Pairing: Abby/CJ-canon, baby, canon!
Prompt: #78- David Bowie song titles
Rating: G
Word count: 100
A/N: Jesus, I haven’t written drabbles in a very long time and I'd forgotten how hard it is fitting everything into 100 words.

Abby’s fingers brushed against CJ’s as she handed her a glass of scotch.

“This party couldn’t be any deader if you brought the dead back,” CJ said, taking a slip of her scotch.

Abby chuckled, lightly. “It could do with some livening up.”

“I don’t think they’d notice if we slipped away,” CJ said, winking before placing her drink on the table.

Abby should’ve been stunned, but seeing as how this was CJ nothing surprised her. She surprised herself and CJ as she entwined her fingers with CJ’s, ignoring the gasps and staring as she said, “Then lead the way.”

Title: I Can't Explain
Timeline: Speak, Lawyers, For Me
Rating: G
Word count: 100

As the door closed behind her Abby wilted against the door. She couldn’t help being surprised by her own actions: What the hell was she thinking? Was she even thinking? What the hell possessed her to ask CJ out?

It could have something to with the fact that since *that* kiss two months ago her feelings for CJ have been rather confusing. After all, she wasn’t gay and like she told CJ: she likes men. So why hadn’t she stopped thinking about that night-that kiss? Did she ask her out to relive that night in hopes to form a relationship?

Title: Friday On My Mind
Timeline: There Goes The Judge
Rating:G
Word count:100

The last thing Abby expected was that sharp pang of jealous, when CJ’s date showed up. What would have happened if he hadn’t shown up in CJ’s office? Would she have known how she truly felt? No. But he did show up and the unexpected pang of jealously emerged.

So, what did this mean? Did she actually want to continue seeing CJ?

There was only one way to find out: Friday was finally here, Eric was spending the weekend at a friend’s and there was nothing left to do but for Abby to swallow her pride and ask CJ out.

SGA

Title: You Can’t Talk
Fandom: SGA
Pairing: Weir/Teyla with a dash of McKay/Sheppard
Prompt: #78- David Bowie song titles. Also for [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100’s Not Enough
Word count: 100

Elizabeth has never once said anything and why should she? Teyla’s under her command, after all.

A part of Elizabeth wishes to be like Sheppard. Always taking risks-including the risk being court marshalled, if Caldwell was to discover John’s relationship with McKay.

Sheppard would never allow his relationship with McKay to affect his ability when he’s on duty. That’s another thing she envies about Sheppard, his ability to separate his working life from his personal life.

But she isn’t John. And unlike John, she has to think of the repercussions, which is why she’d never date anyone under her command.

Title: Always Crashing In The Same Car
Fandom: SGA
Pairing: Sheppard/McKay/Beckett
Rating: PG
Prompt: #78- David Bowie song titles. Also for [livejournal.com profile] au100’s prompt 044-circle
Word count:100

The cliché goes: everything is too good to last and for most people it’s a fact.

Expect John, Rodney and Carson aren’t most people.

Their friendship had blossomed into something more physical. For the first few weeks it was great. It was what they wanted, sex without the hassle of commitment.

But then things changed. Emotions and sudden-unexpected-declarations had entered the equation. It was getting too much. He hadn’t signed up for this. Nor had he expected their sudden declarations. Since when did sex turn into the equivalent of a relationship? So Rodney had no choice but to end things.

Title: Man In The Middle
Fandom: SGA
Pairing: Sheppard/McKay/Beckett
Rating: G
Prompt: Also for [livejournal.com profile] au100’s 002 middles
Word count: 100

There was a lot to be said about the Rodney-man in the middle: arrogant, smart, snide, overconfident, condescending and sexy-or at least he likes to think so.

Being the middle man certainly had its pros, but with pros came cons. Rodney always got his own way and the one who ended up hogging the bed, whilst John and Carson found themselves on the floor, which was a pro in itself. But then there was the endless bickering between John and Carson and Rodney always ended up being dragged into their arguments, that was when he hated being in the middle.

Title: What’s Really Happening?
Fandom: SGA
Pairing: Sheppard/McKay/Beckett
Warning: character death
A/N: Also written for [livejournal.com profile] au100’s 079-agony

Sheppard’s expression remained vacant. He barely acknowledged Teyla as she hugged him uttering, “John, I know that you do not want to hear this, but I truly am sorry.”

They’re all sorry. He doesn’t need-want-their fucking pity. Words are meaningless.

John’s emotionless eyes flicked toward Carson.

It didn’t seem fair. It should’ve been him who died in the car crash not Rodney. Rodney had so much to live for, unlike him.

Nothing made sense anymore. “This isn’t yer fault, John. It was an accident.”

Rodney was dead and it was his fault. It was the only thing that made sense.

CSI: New York

Title: Waiting For The Man
Fandom: CSI: New York
Pairing: Stella/Aiden
Rating: G
Word count: 100

As the saying goes: the prefect man is out there. If anything it is more of a cliché. After all, if it wasn’t a cliché then Aiden would have found ‘the right man’ by now.

Idly, Stella continued to draw circles on Aiden’s abdomen, she paused briefly allowing her gaze to meet Aiden’s who replied with a devious smile as she traced Stella’s jaw line before pulling her and claiming her lips.

Oh, it certainly was a cliché. Sometimes, waiting for ‘the right man’ can have unexpected results, because ‘the right man’ can turn out to be ‘the right woman’.
