Title: Jim
Fandom: Superman Returns
Pairing: Clark/Jimmy
Prompt: Angst
Rating: G
Word count: 100
Clark/Jimmy, Superman Returns
Before Clark had left, he'd started calling me "Jim." Clark was the only person in the office to do that, and the name change had gone a long way in furthering the already huge crush I had on him.
I never dared to dream that he'd ever come back, but on the day Clark walked into The Planet's offices, my crush reasserted itself, as though no time had passed at all. Unfortunately, so had Clark's crush on Miss Lane. Watching Clark watch her hurt.
But it hurt a whole lot more that Clark had gone back to calling me "Jimmy."

Title: Gone
Fandom: Smallville
Pairing: Clark/Lex
Prompt: Angst
Rating: R
Word count: 300
Clark/Lex, Smallville
The last time they had done this had been following his father’s funeral, so Clark supposes he shouldn’t be surprised that they wind up repeating the act following Lionel’s funeral.
Things are certainly different this time around. Though Lex could never physically hurt him, the rough way he pushes Clark to his knees implies that he is trying to, and his words are chosen to cut on purpose. There’s mentioning of Lana’s mouth, mothers, and orphan heritages shared. And this time, Clark is forced to keep his oversized shirt on, out of fear that Lex’s fingers would trail the Superman muscles that Clark can’t explain away.
It’s so far from what it should be that Clark knows he should stop it. "Angry fucking" is what Lex calls it - not the love making they both used to want. Lex’s rage is so strong that for a moment, Clark wonders if the other man suspects his secret - if Lex knows that the man sucking him off is the very same Superman that Lex blames for Lionel’s death.
But Lex can’t know that, no more than he can know that in the end, the men that fathered them both inhabited the same body.
Part of Clark wants to pull away and explain it . . . explain everything to Lex. But the other part - the one whose whisper of discontent had been growing louder since the day they’d met - tells him it’s too late. It tells him Lex is gone, that the next funeral may be because of Lex, and that all Clark has to fill the empty void of longing, need, and want is the bitter taste of Lex’s seed upon his lips.
Clark drinks it greedily, and grasps with both hands that which has already slipped away.

Title: Lonely
Fandom: JLU
Pairing: Vandal Savage/Superman
Prompt: #87 - Angst
Rating: R
Word count: 300
Superman/Vandal Savage
It’s been millions of years since I’ve had any company at all, outside of the mutant creatures of this forsaken world that is my creation. When I first detected his presence, I thought for certain that I had finally gone mad and was hallucinating.
Even as we spoke, I was not entirely certain that he was nothing more than a figment of my imagination. Certainty began to seep into my mind the minute he threw the first punch. . . and straddled me.
Knowing that his threat to "smash my skull" would do little good, I focused instead on the increase in his body temperature and the clear sign that the time alone in this future wasteland had driven him to a type of despair that forced his body to react even to my touch.
I’m not ashamed to admit that I invited him to my home purely out of hope that the inkling of attraction I felt would be enough to entice him to explore the more carnal results of my isolation.
Fulfillment of my wish did not take a lot of persuasion. By either of us.
It took several reminders that we were under a red sun before the former Man of Steel stopped holding back. While I’m sure the ability to unleash was gratifying, I did not miss the frantically mumbled name that slipped from his lips.
Nor did I miss his retreat to the couch after the deed was done.
When the time machine was finally finished, I fought to hide any pang of loss I might have felt as I watched him go. But I fervently hoped that the younger Vandal Savage finds redemption as well. It is the only way Superman would ever bestow the same gift upon him that he gave to me.
