Maybe you're greedy; you don't know. You don't particularly care, either.

All you know is that having him for an hour or two on stage isn't enough. Out there, you have to share him with the crowds and the rest of the band, even if at times the music connects between the two of you, and he meets your eyes and it seems as though the whole world melts away and it's only you. Only him.

It's not enough.

You want him after the show, pinned beneath you in bed or up against a wall. You want the taste of him in your mouth, his hair bunched in your fists as you grind into him, making him feel your need and knowing that he needs the same. You want to take him and share the rhythm of your bodies connected in passion, not just the rhythm of music. You want to hear him gasp your name right before he comes.

"Taylor..."

You're the only one who can make him come like that. You know it.

It's not enough that he still loves you and tells you that all the time, tells it in front of the crowds who think it's just a silly joke between friends. You want lust and dirty sex on the tour bus; lipstick smudges on his body when he begs you to wear it; bruises and bites on your skin that you can feel for days, always making you think of him. You want everything he tries to be too mature to indulge in any longer, now that you're both married and "settled down," a pair of so-called "family men."

Yeah, right. Whatever, Dave.

You just want it the way things used to be. And if that makes you greedy, fine.

At least you're honest, too.
