Gibbs lay in bed, his arm wrapped protectively around the smaller man.
There were so many things about Ducky that were soft: his hair that was like silk; his cheeks even stubbly with a beard; his little belly.
But to say that Ducky was soft was so far from the truth.
He had seen a side of Ducky these past few days that was hard, so steely that it scared the gray haired Agent.
Gibbs sighed and buried his nose in the dark gold hair that smelled so wonderful. He hoped that Ducky would go easy on himself, forgive himself.
