Seven years. Seven really long, frustrating years. Seven years of hoping, waiting and watching. Jared knows he should have said something to let Tomo know he was interested in being more than just his friend and bandmate, but that would have required actual guts and fortitude, not to mention overriding his ego, and taking the chance that he’d be turned down. Maybe he expected Tomo to notice so he wouldn’t have to make the first move, but now it was too late. Tomo was getting married. The chase was over and Tomo would never know he’d been chased at all.
