"Tsk, tsk! Look what I found in the Watcher's files!"
Giles pushes his glasses further back up on his nose. "There is a perfectly justifible reason for that book being in my possession."
"You flinched it off a student? Been a while since you ran the school library, Ripper. You expect me to believe you forgot about it all this time?"
"Hardly. I -- "
"What? You were using it for research material? Hardly. The bits who write these suckers," he counters, flopping the Vampire romance novel in the air, "never get the details right."
"If you could bother yourself to listen -- "
Spike's feral grin broadens. "The Scoobies'll love to know their little Watcher has other guilty pleasures than tea and soap operas."
"And a Vampire who's about to be dust if he doesn't shut the bloody Hell up and listen."
"Oh? I'm a guilty pleasure now, am I?"
"I'd hardly call what we do right," Giles retorts, grabbing a fistful of Spike's black shirt and yanking him closer. His lips land on his before he can argue. Underneath his thrusting tongue and hot lips, Spike can't help but to think that this is probably the thing he's ever done that feels the most right.
The End
