As I mentioned last week, my Spike/Wes senses series based on early Ats S5, when Spike was incorporeal, is slightly out of sync with the current challenge. I had to do 'scent' last week and 'taste' this week, to make sure the plot flowed in the right direction.

As you may know, for these senses challenges I've been writing a series of Spike/Wes drabbles based on early Ats S5, when Spike was incorporeal.

For my plot line to work, the series has to have the senses go in order of: sight, sound, smell, taste, touch. This means that my 400 word ficlet for this week is based on 'smell', with next week's based on 'taste'.

As I am now back-to-front with the community's challenges (assuming next week is 'smell' that is), I will not post here directly. But if anyone is interested in reading my ficlet based on 'smell' the link is below.
