Angel kissed Wesley lightly down the side of his throat. Wesley writhed under him, causing the blankets to puddle onto the floor, forgotten. In the morning, they would be carefully shaken out, tucked in, and smoothed down by Wesley’s graceful hands. But now, properly made beds had left his mind. “Angel.” he whispered repeatedly, like a mantra. As if the invocation kept Angel tethered to him, above him, like a balloon. Wesley’s neck was warm and yielding, the heathery scent of his aftershave delicious. Angel licked a path down to the hollow at the base of his throat, dipping in his tongue and feeling the pulse under the surface, vital, thrumming with life. Intoxicating to his vampire senses. More so to his human ones. Wesley’s love filled his quiet heart, stealing away the loneliness, despair, and hopelessness they fought against day after day, side by side. Wesley’s smooth hands ran down his back, worshiping each muscle with his fingertips. He pressed wet kisses to Angel’s forehead. “I love you, Angel.” he breathed.
Angel raised his head to kiss Wesley’s waiting mouth and replied “I love you too, Wes.” Wesley made a tiny noise in his throat, as he did every single time. Not because he didn’t believe Angel’s words, but because he didn’t believe he was worthy of being truly loved. Angel kissed away the sprinkle of wet marks across Wesley’s cheeks. Someday they won’t be there, Angel vowed. Someday I will tell him I love him and he will smile instead of cry. Someday he will know his full worth. Angel knew it, now. After two years of friendship and one strange night under mistletoe, he knew. But not always. Not storybook love at first sight. First sight thoughts included “pompous ass” and “uptight prig”. And not one higher power in the universe could have told him with any degree of believability that a few short years after that first meeting at the Bronze, he would spend his days thinking about how soon it would be before he could lead Wesley to their bed and make love with him.
Wesley’s teeth nipped roughly at his jaw. Angel growled softly at him, eliciting low moans as Wesley wordlessly begged for more. Angel slid down Wesley’s chest, feeling his breath take a sharp intake in anticipation. Angel indulged him slowly, drawing it out, licking, nibbling, teasing; enjoying Wesley’s throbbing pulse, impassioned heat, and delicate skin, like tissue paper against his tongue. Wesley’s eyelashes fluttered as he arched his back, hurriedly panting, white-knuckled hands gripping the sheets, awash in the ebb and tide flowing through his body. He calmed, settling into the pillows with a sigh. Angel savored the sharp sting on his tongue, the intense humanness of it. He shifted and laid his head on Wesley’s chest, letting his steady, rhythmic heartbeat soothe him to sleep. Wesley absently tangled his hands through Angel’s hair and closed his eyes, content to drift into dreams with the man he loved at first sight.

I kind of lost the physical side of this and found myself drifting with the emotion, the sentiment and the longing ...
They bring so much to each other and you showed it perfectly here :)

Lovely and hot. I giggled at the examples of Angel's first thoughts of Wes. They were amusing, but also a little sad when we realise at the end that when it came to Wesley's point of view - it was at first sight. Must be hard, knowing that whatever Angel says now, there was a time when he was looked at with nothing but contempt.
*pets them both* Ah well... I trust Angel to make it all better :)

*grin* Yep, as long as I know that, then I can live with the momentary uncertainty. *pets her OTP*
