Long after she left The Bronze with Willow she could still feel her, her essence. She was harsh and new. She knew that she wasn’t who she said she was.

“S-she’s not your friend…”
“What?”

She could smell her. It was so strong that it overtook every other thought in her mind.

Leather, sex and smoke.

It haunted her for days, even after she performed the spell with Willow to bring her friend back. She often wondered what became of the girl with the jagged aura.

She couldn’t help but wonder if she tasted just as dangerous as she smelled.

Thank you. Amusingly that was the first line that I wrote. I was gonna title it 'jagged aura' but I liked the poety of 'lingering'
