Cause and Effect drabble

Spike pushes most people's patience, as a rule; it's partly a habit, partly for the sake of his image, partly for the entertainment value.

He gets on Angel's nerves more than most, and it's not like he doesn't know that. He says it's because the stupid wanker gets his knickers in a twist far too easily, and that's true, as far as it goes.

But it also gets Angel arguing with him--and once he gets started, they can carry on arguing for hours --and that's the only thing that makes Spike feel like it's the old days again.
