First one...be gentle. *slow, sweet, innocent smile*
Title: Change of heart
Rating: PG (or G..whichever)
Disclaimer: Did not happen. I don’t make money off this, trust me. People are very real. The story is very not.
Pairing: Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird (WNBA Players)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you ask her, she’ll say that it was a difficult decision. She’ll wax sentimental about how she grappled with it and lost sleep. She’ll even go so far as to tell you that she’d admired Sue for a long time before admitting she was in love with her. But none of that is true.
Diana fell in love with Sue the first time she met her. And deciding to pursue the older woman was the easiest decision Diana ever made. She didn’t lose a moment of sleep…if you don’t count the time she spent with her fingers buried inside herself thinking of how Sue’s skin would taste. Because she fell asleep quite quickly afterwards. Not once did she grapple with the choice or think twice about wanting the woman. She asked Sue out on their first date on her very first day on campus. By the fourth date they were in her dorm room lying in a sweaty, sexually satisfied heap.
No, for Diana Taurasi, switching from being “straight” to being “gay” was nothing for her, really. And no matter what she might tell you, loving Sue Bird is as natural for her as shooting a three-pointer or breathing.
