They were in the courtyard of the hotel. All dressed in black, surrounding a hole that Angel dug in the shadow of the building.

"He was a good warrior," Wesley spoke over the grave. "He was always dependable and never flinching." He paused trying to gather his thoughts. "His loss will be painfully felt and could never, truly be replaced."

Taking the two broken remains of Angel's sword, Wesley tossed them into the hole and Gunn started shoveling dirt over it.

"Nice service, Wes," Angel said softly, sadly.

Wesley took Angel into his arms and kissed him gently. "Thank you."

*weeps piteously* I know this is supposed to be funny, and it really, really is, in the best Joss Whedon fashion, but I am so weepy right now for the simple and honest love between Wesley and Angel, I am just....lost. *weeps more and loves my boys WAY too much*
