When I was near you the sun shone on me, it chased my fears and doubts away and coddled my heart.
I should of known the sun wouldn't always shine but, I had not a clue for the rain had crept softly in.
It came and destroyed, blowing us apart and leaving our lives in shambles.
Silently the rain turned cold encasing me in ice.
I'm, now, lying on the floor back in the place where it all began.
You grip my hand lifting me up and I feel the ice slipping off.
You hug me and I remember spring.
