Opening Challenge #28 'Endings'

After last week's challenge of 'Beginnings', we thought this week the challenge at slashthedrabble should be 'Endings'.

Anything that has a beginning also has an ending - life, love, relationships, rants, raves and roads. They can be a long time coming or totally unexpected. End a few things and show us how. ;)

Drabbles of 100 words and ficlets of 200, 300, 400 and 500 words exactly are acceptable, and please remember to use cut tags. Most importantly of all, have fun!
