He hadn’t meant to let Remus know. It touched, in his mind, on a subject best left unmentioned in those times, and so this too was best left unmentioned, lest they be forced to talk. His best laid plans always failed, however. He should have known that he wouldn’t be able to stop himself.
Not when Remus was touching him, whispering soft, possessive words. Not when he was half out of his mind with need and want and yes, damn it, yes! There was no way to stop himself when Remus leaned closer, breath ghosting over his ear, and growled.

I feel for Snape, I really do. Growling gets me like that too. *g*
