Lindsey tried not to laugh. He really did. But Xander just looked so pitiful, curled up into a tiny little ball on Lindsey's bed. "Maybe that eighth slice of pizza wasn't the best idea?"

"Ooooooooooh. You are so very mean to mock a man when he's dying. You said you weren't evil!"

That, of course, released Lindsey's laugh. "Sorry. Drink this – it'll help." Lindsey stifled another chuckle.

Xander rolled over to cast a baleful glance at his date. "What?"

"It's just that I was kind of hoping to get you into bed, but this isn't what I had in mind."
