Opening Challenge #89 - Hurt/Comfort

The challenge this week at slashthedrabble is "Hurt/Comfort".

This is the fourth challenge in the 'genre' theme, suggested by reremouse. This theme of challenges will be running for the next few weeks.

Make them bleed, make them cry, make them hurt or angst or suffer, and then have someone else make it better somehow.

Drabbles of 100 words and ficlets of 200, 300, 400 and 500 words exactly are acceptable, and please use cut tags. Have fun!

I have an idea for a prompt-the only reason this came to me was because of me changing my user name *snerk*...not sure if this has been done-waaay too lazy to look in the memories-change. Whether it's change has in a person's lifestlye or gender...or just change in general.
