Challenge #110 - Late/Early

My resolution is to try not to forget to post the new challenges on time each week. This one, however, is a day late. *head desk*

In honour of my error, this week's challenge at slashthedrabble is - 'Late/Early'.

Use either, use both, interpret as you will. Enjoy!

Drabbles of 100 words and ficlets of 200, 300, 400 and 500 words exactly are acceptable, and please use cut tags. Have fun!
