It’s like one of those little chocolates maids leave on the pillow in hotels: suspicious but welcomed. Spike’s not exactly sweet, and technically you’re the darker of the two, but there are still similarities. Of course, it has to be dark chocolate, so much so that it leaves a bitter, metallic taste in your mouth when you’re through. Spike is not an easy guy to get along with, after all. But what began with one nosey ghost in the men’s room has ended in something like a functional relationship for two outsiders. And, really, who could ever resist free chocolate?
