Routine (PG-13)
By Periwinkle

According to the dictionary, one meaning of “habit” was “an acquired pattern of behavior that often occurs automatically.” According to Napoleon, that defined his relationship with Illya.

In their apartment, the two of them alone, they had set patterns: who cooked, who did the security check, who bottomed. Well, maybe not the last one. That happened according to their needs and desires.

But their morning habit turned them from lovers into spies - the putting on of their shoulder holsters; the instinctive checking of their guns. The other routines merely defined them as a couple. This could save their lives.
