So, a day late, challenge #174 at slashthedrabble is Broke(n).

Drabbles of 100 words and ficlets of 200, 300, 400 and 500 words exactly are acceptable, and please use cut tags. Have fun!

Hee! I'm not going to extend this one, but in a couple of weeks it's open season on all the past challenges so you have a couple of weeks to get them ready. ;)
