A stifled groan, teeth clenched: a tension headache, nothing serious; administer aspirin and/or coffee as soon as possible.

A prominent groan, head raised: muscle tension, minor injury; administer aspirin and/or coffee, relocate shoulder if necessary.

A growl from the back of the throat: a pain in his arse; administer coffee and remove Owen from Hub.

A choked gurgling: death; make sure you’re there when he revives, preferably with coffee.

A silent, haunted look: too much time to reflect; administer paperwork/Weevil outbreak/other impending threat, and coffee.

A quiet moan: pleasurable pain; administer nothing, not even coffee. You’re doing fine. Keep going.
