TITLE: Sandpaper
AUTHOR: Ashley-Pitt
FANDOM: NCIS
PAIRINGS: Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Donald “Ducky” Mallard
WORD COUNT: 100
SUMMARY: Submitted for
slashthedrabble Challenge # 222- Sore
WARNING: A bit for “Broken Bird”
DISCLAIMER: I do not own these characters, nor am I making any money from them. I borrow them once in awhile, but put them away tidily.
Gibbs shoulders were sore…and his back too.
Still he worked the sander back and forth.
He couldn’t understand why Ducky was mad at him.
The NCIS agent had moved heaven and earth to save his lover from a trial and possible imprisonment.
Gibbs shuddered slightly at the thought of losing Ducky…perhaps forever.
He stopped and grabbed his mug.
He sipped.
The bourbon burned all the way down his throat. The liquid would soon ease the pain in his shoulders… but not in his heart.
He turned back to the boat.
Right now, the only thing that made sense was sanding.
