Merlin’s clothed and disrobed Arthur countless times before. Off with his boots. On with his shift. Off with his armor. On with his jacket. It should be a thoughtless task by now, but it isn’t.

Off with his crown. On with his chains.
Off with his red and gold. On with his black and blue.

"No one is safe from the laws of Camelot. Not even a prince."
"But it wasn’t you! I did it! I’m the sorcerer!"
"I know."

Off with his head! (Arthur kisses him for the last, first, and only time.) On he marches to his death.
