slashthedrabble Past Prompts Revisited. #026. Stormy
RATING: PG-13
SUMMARY: A storm brews over the 4077.
DISCLAIMER: I do not own these characters, nor am I making any money from them. I borrow them once in awhile, but put them away tidily.
AUTHOR”S NOTE: 4/30
BJ and Hawkeye were wrapped in each other arms on a mattress in the comer of the supply tent.
It had been a bad week. The casualties had come in an endless stream.
Now for a brief time, the stream had stopped.
They hadn’t made love, instead they just rested beside each other safe and far, far away from the war.
A rumble of thunder disturbed their quiet.
“Ah heck,“ BJ grumbled.
“Don’t tell me you are afraid of a little thunder?” Hawkeye quipped.
“No, it is just that I forgot to tell Peg to get the guy to clean the gutters..”
Hawkeye abruptly pulled out of the embrace and sat up.
“Dammit, BJ. Every time we get close, you put Peg in between us.”
“Hawkeye, what do you want me to do? I am still married to Peg. I have Erin to think about. I still need to take care of them.”
Thunder rumble ominously.
“Hawk, I promise when this is all over, I will tell Peg. I will get a divorce. I will come to Maine.”
“Whatever you say BJ.” Hawkeye said as he returned for this moment in time to his place in his lover’s arms.
