Tobias Fornell stood on the landing, a six pack in one hand, a large Antonio’s pizza box in the other.

“Gibbs are you down here?” he called down to the basement.

“Ya think Tobias?“ came the response.

“Thank God. I thought I made a mistake and was in the wrong damn house. Where the hell is the boat?”

“In the water.”

“Holy shit…you sunk this one?”

“I said in the water not under the water. I launched her.”

“She floats?”


“Yeah, she does. And if you are lucky I may take you for a sail. Get down here and bring the beer.”

Fornell walked down the stairs and over to the work bench. He placed the beer and pizza down.

“Good to see you too, Gibbs.”

Gibbs said nothing but merely grabbed two long necks in one hand while reaching for the old -fashioned ‘church key’ which hung on a hook over the bench with the other. He deftly popped the caps on both bottles and handed one to Fornell.

“They are twist off, Jethro.”

“Yeah, I know, but they taste better this way. Kind of like how Chinese food is better when you eat it with chopsticks.”

Gibbs leaned back against the workbench, and tipping the bottle up, finished most of it in two gulps.

“Guess you were thirsty,” Fornell said as he took a sip of his beer.

Gibbs reached over and grabbing the other man by the belt buckle, pulled him close. He bent his head and kissed him.

“Been a dry spell Tobias. You haven’t been around much.”

“ I know.”

Gibbs reached his arms around the other man. He slid his hands down slowly and gently began to massage the firm buttocks.

“Yeah. Want to go upstairs for awhile? I like Antonio’s better cold anyway.”
