Me Too written for
slashthedrabble’s challenge of “Out Loud.”
Rated: G
Pairing: B/F
Disclaim: You know...I feel like I should continue to bother writing one, but if I can get away with it in the long stories, I'm pretty sure 100 words won't offend.
A/N: Once again, I'm bizarrely compelled to offer some femslash...
“Wow. I gotta say, that’s hot,” Xander whispered to Buffy and Oz as they watched from the side line while Faith trained on the matt, arching in graceful flips through the air.
“Limber,” Oz agreed.
“Yeah. I mean, I know I’m taken, and all, but I could still totally fall for that.”
“Me too,” Buffy breathed, wholly intent on the sight in front of her.
Their side of the room went quiet and Xander and Oz simply stared.
Buffy looked at her rather astonished friends, and then mentally reviewed what she’d said. “Oh god! Did I say that out loud?”

Once again, I'm bizarrely compelled to offer some femslash...
Y'know, it's so much easier when you just give in; resistance is futile. Plus then we all get to enjoy it *g*

*L* As far as the femmeslash, I think it's because the community is both m/m and f/f but there's so much m/m that I just feel like I HAVE to try offer some of the other ;^)

Good for you! I don't know if it's a false perception, but in general there seem to be an awful lot more m/m writers than f/f writers. It's one of the reasons I feel the need to try and write more femslash to provide balance...and okay I love doing it. Plus I suspect I'd be really bad at m/m, though I still intend to have a go at some point soon. One way or another it will probably involve Giles (-:

Anyway...I know hanging out in the Giles fandom tends to lead me to m/m too. But if I hung out in the Willow or Faith fandoms, it'd be a different story...
One thing though that might support your theory is the multi-fandom slash advent calendar: I'd say only about one in every 6-8 stories is f/f, even though there's no limit.
*L* In fact, I think it's probably a good thing I've got you on my flist. Besides a few others who occassionally dabble, you're one of my only outlets for femmeslash!
