Thank you everyone who PMed me about the pornspam. The same thing was posted, by the same journal, in both

slashtheimage, so some of you got hit with it twice. :(

I have deleted the posts and removed and banned the guilty journal, so they won't be doing it again. Hopefully this was just a random hit and we're not about to be deluged with this sort of thing. If it does happen again in the next few days, I will put the comms on moderated posting for a short time to make sure I can prevent any more spam reaching your flists.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled written porn. ;)

ETA: FYI, the journals involved are elianaabel447 and angiepritchard; here is the lj admin console and here is the admin console reference, providing instructions on how to use it.

LJ is moving from California to Montana TOMORROW, at 8:00 a.m. PST, and this means serious downtime. Nothing on LJ will be available — no posting, no Friends page, no LJ mail, nada.

Read the post, follow the suggestions, and start stockpiling off-LJ things to do to pass the time so we can all get through this. /PSA

is a multifandom slash prompt comm with a difference -
the prompts are images

All fandoms are welcome, including RPS, and a new prompt will be posted every 14 days.

If you don't want to add yet another multifandom comm to your ever-longer flist, you can join the community, choose not to add it to your flist, and then simply track the !prompt tag so that every new prompt post is delivered directly to your inbox.

Contained in that prompt post will also be a digest of links to all responses to the previous prompt, clearly labelled by fandom and pairing.

The first prompt will be posted at midnight EST, October 1st (5am London time, October 2nd)

Yes, that's right. You get one more week to post on any of the previous challenges, and then it's back to a new challenge every week.

And this has absolutely nothing to do with me not finishing my drabbles before closing time. ;)

A couple of months ago,

teh_gandu asked me if there were any plans to tag the comm entries to make them easier to find. I admitted that the idea had been in my head for a while, but that I hadn't gotten around to doing anything about it. She volunteered to help, and the next thing I know, we're trying to come up with tag heirarchies and fandom and pairing labels that will fit within the character limits allowed by lj's tagging system.

This post is to announce that

slashthedrabble has now been comprehensively tagged!

Go see the huge list of pairings and fandoms we've managed to accumulate in our (almost) three years!

Notes:
( Buffy and Angel fandoms... )
( Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis... )
( General crossovers... )

Pairings/threesomes/moresomes only have one tag per combination of bodies, so if you can't find the 'carson/hermiod/caldwell' tag for that piece you read last month, try looking under hermiod/caldwell/carson, or caldwell/carson/hermiod, etc etc. ;)

Your friendly neighbourhood mod *waves* will be tagging posts as they appear on her flist, so make sure you all remember to include pairing and fandom in your headers so I don't have to hunt you down and ask embarrassing questions. :D
