Dragonriders of Pern: 3 Ficlets, m/m, rated R

Written for slashthedrabble’s challenge of “sound.” I TRIED to emphasize sound in these…though I don’t know if I succeeded, so I hope it still meets the challenge. Anyway, these drabbles/ficlets should be taken as a series.

Fandom: DragonRiders of Pern
Pairing: S’frall/A’laran (OMC/OMC), Yranth/Serath (blue/green)

A/N: For those unfamiliar with the fandom, the primary female dragons (which lay eggs) are gold. However, the green females also mate, but unlike the gold dragons, they generally choose male riders, like the male bronze, brown, and blue dragons do. As riders mate with their dragons this tends to lead to m/m relationships between green riders and those riders of the male brown and blue dragons that fly the smaller females.

Drabble #1 - Spike/Angel

There were no sounds around him. Just silence enveloped him. The only sound he could hear was the rattle of his shackles when he tried to move. He’d been left here for some time now. He hadn’t seen anyone for days. His stomach was starting to growl really bad. At first he had tried to call for help but now his voice was already so harsh that no sound came out. He decided to save his strength for anything else that was coming. At last he could hear steps coming closer. He concentrated and pleaded.

"Sire..."

"I’m here now, baby."
